At PPUG we are dedicated to being stewards of the land and a resource to the community. We cares deeply for the community and is committed to strengthening programs and resources for all.

Barbra Gibb, Executive Director

Barbra has lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years, and she loves her community! Bringing people together, especially over homegrown or locally sourced meals, is her favorite thing to do. She taught for many years at Pikes Peak Community College, and she most recently managed community partnerships for Whole Foods Market. She is an avid backyard gardener, and her new favorite recipe is Green Tomato Mole Jam.

Thu Tran, Communications Liaison

Thu is a backyard garden enthusiast whose personal gardening experience continues to be empowering and delightful. Growing food is in her DNA and Thu is continuously inspired by her grandparents who were rice farmers in Vietnam. With a background in business administration and management, she is thrilled to be apart of PPUG’s growth and impact. When not working for PPUG, you can find Thu knee deep in gardening, fermenting, intensely studying about herbal medicine and spoiling her cats.
